A matchmaking event for digital economy resources was held in Longhua District on the morning of March 31. The inauguration ceremony of the Longhua District Investment Promotion and Enterprise Services Center was held at the event. Xu Zhibin, a member of the standing committee of the Longhua District Committee of the CPC and executive deputy district mayor of Longhua, unveiled a plaque for the center.

Comprising of a multitude of sub-events such as an information sharing session, a supply-demand matchmaking session and a bank-enterprise matchmaking session, the matchmaking event attracted the participation of upstream and downstream enterprises, investment and financing institutions, banks and insurance companies.

In addition to inviting the heads of several enterprises to share with the audience how enterprises could seize opportunities and embrace the challenges brought by the digital economy, the event also invited several Longhua-based enterprises to showcase their digital economy products. Participating enterprises could also listen to the analysis of relevant digital economy policies by financial experts, and browse rich financial products presented by 16 renowned financial institutions to support their development.

The event was jointly hosted by the Longhua District Industry and Information Technology Bureau and the Longhua District Investment Promotion and Enterprises Services Center.

The newly-established Longhua District Investment Promotion and Enterprises Services Center will provide investment promotion services, enterprise services and financial development services to business entities in the district. Currently, Longhua District is home to more than 283,000 business entities, among which 3,040 are enterprises above designated scale, 2,734 are national high-tech enterprises, and 27 are listed enterprises.

“Longhua District has a large number of enterprises in a wide spectrum of industries. The affairs related to enterprises is therefore one of the priorities for the district’s social and economic development,”the head of the Longhua District Investment Promotion and Enterprise Services Center told reporters, adding that as the only institution in Shenzhen to integrate investment promotion services, enterprise services and financial development services, the center is able to provide one-stop services for enterprises.
